Trevor Boris has come a long way from the farm he grew up on near Winnipeg, MB.
Currently, Trevor is the award-winning Showrunner and Executive Producer of Canada’s Drag Race now going into its third season airing on CRAVE, BBC Three, and in over 150 countries on WOW Presents Plus.
Trevor has also served as an Executive Producer on Big Brother Canada (9 seasons) and as one of the creative driving forces behind the show’s themes, challenges, and twists. His work on BBCAN lead him to also work on the USA and UK versions of Big Brother, and was even invited to Poland recently to give a keynote address on the future of the format to Big Brother producers from around the world. He has also produced numerous other shows such as Paradise Hotel (FOX), Hockey Wives, Canada’s Got Talent, and has worked for the NHL producing entertainment for their outdoor games.
Before his life as a TV producer, Trevor was one of the most successful comedians in the country. Known from his 9 seasons as one of the stars on MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, Trevor has also appeared on CONAN, and has filmed comedy specials for CTV, LOGO, and a DVD for Warner Music. A two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee, and winner of the COCA comedian of the year award, Trevor’s is a fast-paced, hip, and energetic style of comedy which has quickly made him a fan favourite everywhere he goes.
