rIVerse is a Toronto-based pop/r&b group with a mission to REPRESENT THE UNDERREPRESENTED.
This group is unlike anything else in mainstream media, with members of various races, genders, sexual orientations, body types, etc. rIVerse has been independently creating high quality, competitive music for over 9 years without any management, agency or label support. Their hard work and creative vision have awarded the group opportunities such as singing the national anthems at multiple NBA Toronto Raptors games, opening for Carly Rae Jepsen at WorldPride, as well as a month-long tour in Seoul, South Korea.
Recently, with the major shifts due to the global pandemic, rIVerse found ways to adapt their creative process to share their music and message with the world. In 2021, they released their sophomore album, 'Poison IV,' which has songs that touch on topics such as racial injustice, coming to terms with one's sexuality, body positivity and more. The group also self-produced a full-length Virtual Concert, to connect with audiences around the world and bring much-needed light and positivity during what has been an incredibly dark time.
The ultimate goal for rIVerse is to use their music and content as the platform to bring representation and self-love to mainstream media.
